Please pray for me as I prepare for my mastectomy and reconstruction. Join me in thanking God for his faithfulness as I completed my last of 16 chemo cycles yesterday. The next 3 months will be filled with testing, surgery, decisions, and radiation. Included in this is a lot of traveling to MD Anderson, which is 9 hours away from home. I have a beautiful 19 month old girl, and loving husband and I need to be back with them as soon as possible. There is so much unknown coming soon. I need some peace in my heart. I need to know that my decisions are the best for my family and for me. I appreciate your prayers. I also pray for all of the other members of this community that are battling cancer. May the Lord be your strength.

I was diagnosed with Stage IV Her2 Neg Breast cancer at the age of 32 one week before my 33rd birthday, April of last year. I have been on chemo treatments for 8 months, two rounds of radiation, and back surgery to repair my spine from metastasis. I had a bilateral mastectomy with lumpectomy a week ago and will be beginning radiation and chemo again soon. Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion 🙂

I have been diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 1 invasive ductal cancer. I have my surgery on Thursday, Feb 25, 2016. I am only going for the lumpectomy, and wondering if this is a wise choice. I am fearful for my outcome of the surgery and also am very nervous about chemotherapy. I have three sons, they are all 20 and over, been married for 29 years, and my family is very supportive along with my church and work. But, they still do not know the fear I have. Please pray that I have the courage to go thru all of this with strength that only God can give me. Thanks!
